Park BenchI’m doing a final edit on my work-in-progress today.

In order to do it properly, I need to read the entire manuscript out-loud.  Reading my work this way always helps me catch a million errors.

I plan on spending the next four days working on this. The problem is I usually like to go somewhere outside of my house to edit. I find if I try and do final editing at home, it doesn’t go well as I keep finding other things to do.

This is called procrastination.

Yeah, I really don’t like editing.

I can’t really go to the coffee shop or the library to read it out-loud. I mean, I could, but I’d run the risk of people looking at me funny.  This is something I usually try to avoid. Also, I’m not even sure these places are open right now.

So, I think I’m going to try and find a park bench tomorrow morning and sit and read it there.

So, if you see me, just ignore me, okay?

I’ll be easy to spot, I’ll be the one with the messy hair bun mumbling into my mask.

Thanks.
