Writing

During the pandemic, the amount I wrote every day plummeted.

I was still writing and being creative, but I wrote less, and it wasn’t as easy to do.

So, this month, I decided to relocate to a new town to see if that would help re-spark my creativity.

Since it’s also been a long time since I’ve been able to spend time with my oldest daughter, I decided to fly across the country, rent a condo near her and then basically bother her for a month.

Oh, and if things go well, I’m also hoping to get a lot of writing in.

Yep, I plan to write lots and lots of words this month.

The place I’ve rented is small yet perfectly set up to let me hide here, write, eat junk food, read, drink wine, and spend some time with my daughter. As an added bonus, I’m also going to get to know her significant other better.

It’s pretty much the perfect plan.

And you know what? I like this town so much; I’ve been telling my daughter I’m thinking about moving here.

She seems to think I’m kidding.

So does my husband who is now 2,500 miles away.

Silly people.
