It’s 2023.
Woot!
My writing group has been busy for the last week putting together their 2023 writing plans. I should be doing the same, but since I’m still on vacation, I’m not working on my plan until next week.
I do, however, have a new song to add to my editing playlist after being at Walt Disney World yesterday. It’s Almost There from the movie, The Princess and the Frog.
I think the lyrics sum up nicely where I am with my publishing goals going into 2023.
I remember Daddy told me

I’m almost there.
I believe 2023 will be the year I become a published author.
Yes, I’m terrified.
But I’m also excited.
And perhaps most importantly, I’m almost there.
