According to some of the experts on the internet, I need to start marketing my book before it’s published.
And the first step to doing that is identifying who my readers are. I’m assuming they mean my potential readers, as I really don’t have readers yet because I haven’t published my book.
Yeah, there’s that.
Until now, I’ve just been working on writing my book and making it the best it can be.
I want to be proud of what I publish.
I’m very aware that my first novel won’t be stellar as I still have a lot to learn about writing.
But I have to start somewhere, so I’m doing a lot of editing, asking for feedback and taking courses.
And yes, as soon as I publish, I will write another book and try to make it better than this one.
But if I want anyone to see this book, I guess I need to identify who might be interested in reading it.
So I’m going to do that.
Soon.
I just have no idea how.
Any suggestions?
Sigh.
