My youngest daughter just sent me a picture of her and some of her roommates leaving their campus housing for their first day of classes this fall.
They are all starting their last year of University, so this is bittersweet. This will be the last first day of school I might see for any of my children. My older two have already graduated.
It seems like just yesterday I was dropping off my oldest for her first day of kindergarten.
Time goes quickly.
Don’t blink.
And, don’t take it for granted.
Now, I’m off to write and query.
And yes, distract myself for a while.
